Eileen Borgeson's Artistic Collaboration with Donald Lommis's 'Tao Te Ching' Translation

In the early seventies I developed a friendship with an individual named Donald Lommis (who has passed away since.) I was involved with holographic optics and mass production of holograms and Donald was involved with a patented new 'prime mover' that used a unique energy source. I started helping him in regards to marketing, but his technology, like the holographic optics, was ahead of its time.

Once, as a gift and for safe keeping, he presented me with two folders...two different translations he had done of the Tao Te Ching. The different 'versions' of his Tao Te Ching, were: "The Nature of The Way" and "The Glory of His Way" (kind of an 'Eastern' and 'Western' version.)

The two visuals shown above are from "The Nature of the Way". Eileen Borgeson created the artistic and thoughtful collage which float the Tao's timeless and timely message. "The Nature of the Way" includes visuals of Eileen's "Brandon Tartikoff Award" and other sculptures, photos and glass carvings. Carol Williams created the Buddha.
